Even though I am not in Rebecca’s shoes today I do feel for her today. With today being her last day at Goodwill, it is a emotional day not just for her but also for her work family. You wouldn’t think when you commit to something that it would affect so many, but it does. When we commit to something new we normally don’t think about how it will affect others, but like her work family, so many have depended upon her and will miss her. Much like our new jobs in California, and the commitment we have made to them and how they are looking forward to us joining them. As we all shed a tear because of change it is equally important to remember why this day has come, The commitment to living life to the fullest. It is what pushes us to move onwards. Over the years I have heard many stories about Rebecca’s work family and I know she holds them all in her heart. She will miss them and will cherish the memories she has had with them over the years. I know Rebecca will be forever grateful for the opportunity to work for Goodwill… From both of us, thank you all for the memories…
I’ve had the privilege of working along side of Becky for the past 14 months and in that short time she left a long lasting memory that I will forever hold in my heart ! She wasn’t just my boss she was my friend and shoulder to cry on , vent to or just simple as giving her advice and guidance. She truly was compassionate about her employees and as for me always knew how much I was appreciated . Becky your a beautiful woman inside and out and as much as I will miss you . I know that it’s your time to experience and follow your dreams and start the next chapter in your lives . Here’s to you ????
