Yesterday, November 6th, we ventured off to Moss Landing, California, to see some creatures among the Sanctuary vessel that we booked at https://sanctuarycruises.com. The tour is recommended and promoted by the campground here at Smithwoods, and the primary focus is whale watching, although there is quite a bit more you can see or not. I would have enjoyed myself more, although after reading their website about possible seasickness, I stressed myself out about it even though we prepared ourselves by buying the wrist bands to help alleviate motion sickness. On the other hand, Rebecca was fine with the Pacific ocean swells and enjoyed riding the waves. As for seeing whales, we did get to see two humpback whales, although photographing them on a rickety boat is a challenge. November is also a transition month for the whales, and even though some hang around the bay area, it would have been better to take the tour back in September.
Love the pics!
