Sorry about being a month late, but with getting everything situated, I haven’t had time to sit down to figure out our last trip expenses although, looking at the credit card statement tells me everything. We tried to save on fuel the best way we could by using the Good Sam membership card at the Flying J, where on average we saved 5 to 8 cents per gallon, and then with the credit card, I also received a 2% percent back as well. We also picked up an Exxon credit card with an excellent promotion for the first two months, although I found it hard to find locations for both vehicles along with the trailer to fit, which is why we kept to the Flying J truck stop. Our overall trip cost was $4,972.93 and the RV used 570.83 Gallons costing $1,890.01. The truck used 263.331 Gallons costing $969.81. If we didn’t have any repair costs our overall trip cost would have been $3,515.08, which if I remember, I predicted, would cost us right around $3500 dollars.
